What is a Pockit account card?
A Pockit MasterCard® card looks like a credit or debit card, with a card number, chip & pin and signature strip. But unlike credit and debit cards, a Pockit account and card doesn’t provide a source of credit, or is linked to a bank account. So it helps you spend only the amount you have chosen to load but has some of the same great facilities such as faster payments in and out - helping you to stay in complete control.
You can use the Pockit MasterCard® card at over 35 million locations and withdraw cash from over 1.9 million cash machines worldwide – wherever you see the MasterCard® Acceptance mark.
Is there a minimum age to become a Pockit account holder?
Yes, all primary cardholders must be at least 18 years old. However, please note that additional cardholders (also known as secondary cardholders) must be at least 13 years of age.
Who provides the Pockit account and card?
The Pockit account and MasterCard® card is provided by Pockit Limited. The card is issued by Wirecard Card Solutions Limited pursuant to license from MasterCard® International Incorporated.
When will I receive my Pockit Prepaid Card?
Your card should arrive within 3-5 days of you completing your sign up on Pockit.com. We always try to get your card to you as quickly as possible.
Can I get additional cards for other family members?
You can have up to 3 additional cards linked to your primary card (i.e. 4 cards in total). The additional cards must be in someone else’s name. You can apply for an additional card by clicking on the ‘Additional Cards’ tab in your online account. Additional cards cost 99p each, which will be taken directly from your main Pockit account balance.
Additional cards are not available on Lower Limit Accounts.
How do I access my Pockit account?
You can access your personal account online where you can manage your money and your account facilities.
To log in, simply click the ‘Login’ button at the top of the Pockit website and enter your email address and password you set up, then follow the steps. (note: you can change this password once you have logged in by clicking settings on the menu.)
Once you have logged into your online account you will be able to:
- Check your balance, transactions and cashback
- Make payments in and move money from your account (full limit only)
- View and download your statements
- Manage your settings
- Request and manage additional cards (full limit only)
If you have Additional Cardholders they will be able to manage their money online but will not have access to the main account or funds.
